Setting up your Stripe payout account
Connect a payout account (KYC) so escrow can pay you, and when money arrives.
Payouts are handled by Stripe Connect. From Earnings → Payout onboarding, you'll complete a short, secure Stripe-hosted flow to verify your identity and add your bank details. HelpLink never sees or stores your raw bank or card data — only a secure token from Stripe.
What you'll need
- Proof of identity (Stripe's standard KYC).
- Your business/sole-trader details.
- A bank account for payouts.
When the money arrives
Once a job's escrow is released, the funds move to your Stripe balance and then to your bank on Stripe's payout schedule (typically a couple of business days, depending on your country and account age). You can see released and pending amounts in the Billing center.
Until onboarding shows 'verified', jobs can still be done but payouts can't be sent — finish onboarding first to avoid held funds.
Frequently asked
Is my bank information safe?
Yes. Bank details are entered directly into Stripe's hosted flow. HelpLink stores only a tokenised reference, never the raw account number.
